The adult’s class includes students 18 years of age and older.
All training sessions begin with group warm-ups and stretching exercises to help improve physical conditioning as well as performance. Since our training is very active, why not learn self-defense while getting an excellent workout that burns calories, builds muscle and keeps you flexible. Our 60+ years of experience provide our students with an established effective training program and the highest level of safety and attention. Only trained and certified instructors that come from within our school may teach; and manageable class sizes allow each student to receive personal attention. The teaching experience imparted from generation to generation of instructors ensures superior training and excellent results.
Ju Jitsu is one of the most ancient martial arts of unarmed combat. It includes throws and sweeps, joint dislocating techniques, pressure points, blocks, strikes, kicks, and strangles. Our style of Ju Jitsu is one of the most complete systems of defense. The techniques taught are realistic as well as practical and the philosophy imparted is invaluable to everyone in everyday life both at the personal and social level.
Judo is a combative sport that originated from Ju Jitsu and is part of the Olympic games. Unlike Ju Jitsu, it has rules that the competitors must abide by for the sake of safety and fairness. We offer tournament training as well as optional tournament competition. In the interest of tradition, our Judo training stresses the spirit of combat along with courtesy and respect.
Our weapons training (3 types) is as practical and effective as can be, from the weapons themselves to their usage in self-defense.
